A Cross River-based civil society under the aegis of Action Youths for Cross Rivers Advancements (AYCRA) has berated some people behind some malicious social media articles aimed at discrediting the national woman leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Betta Chimaobim Edu. The Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Eteng Jonah Williams, has commiserated with the victims of the sudden fire outbreak at a private residence on Thursday, 13th of July in Ikom Local Government Area Senator Williams in a statement issued by his Media office described the fire incident as worrisome and sympathized with those whose houses, shops/stores, and wares got burnt in the unfortunate incident. Arising from the Meeting of Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Governing Board, The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu has assured Nigerians that her pet project, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) will bring succour and relief to families in the country when it fully commences.
