The Nigeria Immigration Service in Cross River State has express dissatisfaction over borders security and illegal migration of persons to Cross River State. Comptroller of NIS in the state, Mr James Ezugwu, disclosed this today the 9th day of September 2020 during a courtesy visit to the Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams. Ezugwu explained that he is not trying to implicate anyone but the clan Head, village head and politicians are admitting foreigners through the backdoor. According to him, irregular migration and all forms of illegality along the Cross River State borders are managed by village head who are giving foreigners Nigeria documents free of charge.
