Senator Williams Mourns Hon. Abubakar Ewa, Describes Him as a Brilliant Leader, Political Stabilizer
Senator Eteng Jonah Williams, representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hon. Abubakar Ewa, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Cross River State.
In a message, Senator Williams described Hon. Ewa as a trusted confidant, a brilliant mind, and a committed public servant who played a pivotal role in stabilizing the political landscape of the state.
"Our friendship spans many years, and Abu was more than a colleague—he was a brother. His brilliance, dedication to public service, and commitment to his people made him a respected leader".
His passing is a monumental loss to the Boki Nation, the Cross River Central Senatorial District, and the entire state," Senator Williams noted.
He further stated the late commissioner’s personal qualities, noting his warmth, generosity, and devotion to his family.
"Beyond his public service, Abu was a loving husband and father whose kindness touched many lives."
Senator Williams extended his condolences to Governor Prince Bassey Otu, the Government of Cross River State, and the family and friends of the late Hon. Ewa.
