Senator Eteng Jonah Williams Rallies Yakurr APC Ahead of November 2nd Local Government Elections

 



In preparation for the upcoming Local Government Elections, Senator Eteng Jonah Williams, Chairman of the Yakurr APC Campaign Organization, extended a warm welcome to all members and stakeholders. Addressing party faithful, he emphasized the importance of unity and dedication as they embark on the campaign journey.


Senator Williams expressed gratitude to the party’s leader, His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Otu, commending his leadership in ensuring the successful selection of the party’s candidates. The APC's candidates for Yakurr Local Government include Yibala Inyang (Dombra) as Chairman, Pst. Keppy Obeten as Vice Chairman, and a strong lineup of 13 councilorship candidates committed to serving their wards.


In his message, Senator Williams encouraged all members to rally behind the selected candidates, calling for unity and a collective focus on victory. “Let us set aside personal ambitions and past differences, putting the party’s success above all,” he urged, fostering an atmosphere of reconciliation and shared purpose.


He further directed members to mobilize voters across all units and wards, ensuring inclusivity, especially for those who may feel left out. With the campaign underway, Senator Williams affirmed the Yakurr APC Campaign Organization’s commitment to delivering an emphatic win for the APC on November 2nd.
