As part of his ongoing efforts to improve the lives of his constituents, Senator Eteng Jonah Williams has launched the latest phase of "Project Light Up Central," installing solar-powered streetlights in several riverine communities across Cross River Central Senatorial District.
The beneficiary communities include Isobo Otaka/Isobo Biko-Biko, Ofombongha/Yala, and Oderegha/Ovukwa in Obubra Local Government Area (LGA), Communities in Nsofang, Ajasor, and Abia wards in Etung local government and Adadama community in Abi Local Government Area.
This project aims to provide reliable lighting to enhance the safety, security, and economic activities of these communities.
"Project Light Up Central is a testament to my commitment to the well-being of my constituents," Senator Williams said. "I am dedicated to ensuring that every community in Cross River Central Senatorial District has access to basic infrastructure, promoting growth and development."
This initiative is part of Senator Williams' comprehensive development agenda, which also includes education, healthcare, and economic empowerment programs.
The project is ongoing with more communities slated to benefit from this vital infrastructure in the coming months.
