Yesterday the 26th Day of August 2024, Hon. Cyril Omini, the Member Representing Yakurr 1 State Constituency and House Committee Chairman on Finance, Budget, and Appropriation, marked the Ugep Leboku celebration with a significant act of generosity and distributed fertilizers and wrappers to 200 deserving widows in his hometown, Ugep.
Expressing deep gratitude and a sense of responsibility, Hon. Omini emphasized the importance of supporting widows within the community.
"Through our collective efforts, we aim to empower and uplift those who have faced challenging circumstances," he stated.
The provision of fertilizers is intended to boost agricultural productivity, thereby improving the livelihoods of these women.
