UNICAL produces over 32 First Class, to convoke over 8,000 graduates in 36th convocation, Says VC, Prof. Florence Banku Obi
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Banku Obi, has disclosed that over 32 students of the University of Calabar made First Class Honours ahead of the 36th convocation ceremony of the institution scheduled to hold on March 22nd for award of first degrees and March 23 for award of Ph.Ds respectfully.
She stated this during a media engagement with journalists in Calabar on Monday.
She further said that during the convocation, the University of Calabar will confer doctorate degrees to distinguished individuals.
They are;
Dame Winifred Akpani, CEO Northwest Oil and Gas
Ms. Bamijokotola Abike Johnson, Trustee, Ecogreen Foundation and CEO Catalyst Gold Agro Allied Limited.
Chief (Dr.) Anyanwu Okechukwu, MD/CEO DCL Group.
No doubt, Prof. Obi is promoting research and academic excellence in UNICAL.
