As we mark the first 100 days of Hon. Joseph Bassey's tenure as a Honourable member representing Akpabuyo/Bakassi/Calabar South Federal Constituency, Cross River State, and Chairman, House Committee on Emergency and Disaster Management, it is truly commendable to reflect on the remarkable achievements that have already defined his time in office. 


In this short period, Hon. Joseph Bassey

Furthermore, his motion of urgent importance regarding the deplorable state of the Calabar-Odukpani road in Cross River State underscores his resolve to improve infrastructure, ensuring safe and efficient transportation for his constituents.


Education: Just five days after his swearing-in ceremony on June 13th, 2023, Hon. Bassey displayed his unwavering commitment to education by awarding a scholarship worth 10 million naira to deserving constituents. This generous initiative not only empowers the youth of Akpabuyo/Bakassi/Calabar South Federal Constituency but also emphasizes the pivotal role of education in shaping a brighter future for all.
