The ebullient National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr. Betta Edu congratulates President Bola Tinubu GCFR on his swearing in ceremony and assumption to office as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a press briefing, Dr. Betta Edu the energetic hardworking National Women Leader of the ruling party APC noted that she is optimistic about President Bola Tinubu led-administration which is set to stabilized Nigerian economy, give women effective representation and mainstreamed them in decision making as well as rekindled hope for all and sundry.
She reiterated that renewed hope has come to stay in Nigeria for all Nigerians following the antecedents of President Bola Tinubu and his political victories which had always come with clear visions and abilities to get the job done.
w Conversly, Dr. Edu stated in clear terms that President Bola Tinubu led-Administration will be evidence based because it will be characterized with restructuring, repositioning, mapping and face lifting of the Country against every formidable opposition to our growth as a people. She also noted that Nigerians will beg President Bola to come back after 4 years because Mr. President is on the verge of fulfilling his campaign promises to all sector of the economy. She said removal of fuel subsidy was in the best interest of Nigerians and Nigerians should keep faith with the administration to make things better.
In her words, Dr. Betta Edu, rolled out her goodwill message to Mr. President as quoted " *As you embark upon your new responsibilities as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I wish to assure you that my prayers and that of the good women of APC are always with you as I pray for you to have a successful tenure while looking forward to concert our efforts in supporting your administration towards delivering good governance to the good people of Nigeria in the mist of peace prosperity and unity of purpose for our dear country Nigeria*". Also to our amiable First Lady Sen. Oluremi Tinubu wife of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria I heartily congratulate you on your assumption to office as the mother of the nation, you worked hard; you supported your husband and you gave great support to the Womens wing. We know fully well that with you Nigerian women will be protected.
