Speaker Eteng Williams congratulates Gov. Ayade’s new Commissioners, Urged them to Promote People’s Aspirations

The Speaker, Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams, has congratulated the 13 newly appointed commissioners by His Excellency, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, Executive Governor of Cross River State. Williams in a statement described the appointment of the new commissioners as a response to fill the gaps and bring the right people into governance. The Speaker who is also the APC Candidate for Central Senatorial District elections enumerated the track record achievements of the appointees in their previous capacities and urged them to make choices that will enhance the promotion of the people’s aspirations. His words, ‘By the privilege of your appointment, destiny has formed you to be a part of the history of the new Cross River State. I implore you to make choices that shall enhance the promotion of our collective dreams and aspirations. ”I plead that you bring to bear in this appointment your selfless commitment, focus, and capacity which has over time been the hallmark of the success you notched, to your new appointment. “I have no doubt in mind that your coming on board as members of the state executive council will impact positively and help our Governor achieve his set goals before the expiration of his tenure in office. “I, therefore, congratulate you all and wish you a successful tenure in office.”
