Sen. Prince Bassey Otu the political messiah that will right the wrongs of the past

Cross River State to date has not gotten to what we all envisage. Our growth has been delayed by failed leadership and what our progenitors envisioned has been ruined by bad leadership. As a state for us to develop, we need a leadership that will drive the process. Harvey S. Firestone said "The growth and development of people is the highest calling of leadership."  As Cross Riverian with a sincere mindset, you will agree with me that Cross River's problem is that of leadership. PDP who are screaming to reclaim the state has ruled the state to bankrupt. PDP has sifted away the opportunities to better lives and develop the state to a greater height. Let me not dwell too much on that, but present to you a man whose name is synonymous with human capital and societal development, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, a man who is viewed as the Political Messiah that will right the wrongs of the past and solve various problems of Cross River State. The present administration of Sen. Ben Ayade has done its part by trying to change the narrative of Cross River State from a Civil Service State to an industrialized state and such is commendable. What we should be praying for now, is a leader that will transform Cross River State in completeness. We are in a serious crisis and that crisis is what I called Leadership. If Dubai can be better because of leadership, Cross River State will be better. Without mincing words, Cross River needs Prince Otu who is mentally and physically qualified to govern the state. We have sent some of our leaders to the National Assembly and they were deficient because of their unpreparedness. You are free to verify, the only Senator that went to the National Assembly and came back with results is Sen. Prince Bassey Otu and that was because he went prepared. I have heard the Cross River State Speaker Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams describe Prince Otu as a household name and a profound thinker, whose wealth of experience, vast knowledge and deep understanding of the concept of governance, would be brought to bear in the running of the affairs of the state if he is elected governor. I have also heard the Speaker say that Sen. Prince Otu taught Cross Riverians how governance and representation should be done. He took the empowerment of the people to the next level that today everybody is struggling to see how he can meet up with that and to date, we have not seen his match. Such a testament to a man who is knowledgeable about Cross River State, understand the issues and is ready to position the state should be given full support. Prince Otu was a member of the House of Reps, a parliamentarian per excellence and a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic, looking into governance, you will understand with me that Sen. Prince Otu is an encyclopedia of good governance. If we must move forward as Cross Riverians we must withdraw from social unfairness and ensure a level playing field for leadership to evolve. I'm very happy that everyone is talking about leadership, good governance and effective representation. If we must get that, let us vote for the best man for the Job. Sen. Prince Bassey Otu For Governor of Cross River State. My name is Jesam Ofem Voice of right thinkers
