The National Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress Hon. Dr. Betta Edu has Felicitated with the Cross River State First Lady and Wife of the Executive Governor Dr. Linda Ayade as she adds another year to her age. December 23rd every year has remained a very special and auspicious day for the Mother of many and as usual, this year the head of the women wing of the ruling party Dr Betta Edu has poured out her prayers, encomiums and best wishes to a wonderful Mother who has impacted positively in the lives of so many persons and has shown astute leadership and support in the administration of Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade (CON) her husband. In her birthday wishes, she prayed for the Queen Mother thanking her for all her love and support. "Happy birthday to my Mother, my Mentor, my Destiny helper, My Role model, my Sweet friend. May God grant you Prosperity, good health, long life and everything you need and desire in life. May all your prayers be answered and endless joy surround you forever. I love you Queen of Cross River State. Happy birthday Dr Linda Ayade". Dr. Edu thanked and praised the first lady for being outstanding, loving, accommodating, hard-working and remaining a strong voice to not only the Women but to the voiceless while admiring her love and support to the poor, the aged, the orphans, the vulnerable amongst others.

The Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Mass Communication Alumni, Class of 2006-2010, have donated a Public Address System and two lecterns to the Department of Mass Communication.  This philanthropic act underscores the alumni’s dedication to enhancing educational resources and supporting the development of the institution that played a pivotal role in their formative years.
