The National Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress Hon. Dr. Betta Edu has Felicitated with the Cross River State First Lady and Wife of the Executive Governor Dr. Linda Ayade as she adds another year to her age. December 23rd every year has remained a very special and auspicious day for the Mother of many and as usual, this year the head of the women wing of the ruling party Dr Betta Edu has poured out her prayers, encomiums and best wishes to a wonderful Mother who has impacted positively in the lives of so many persons and has shown astute leadership and support in the administration of Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade (CON) her husband. In her birthday wishes, she prayed for the Queen Mother thanking her for all her love and support. C'River State sets aside Jan 27 for Environmental Sanitation Exercise

The Cross River State Government has announced Saturday, January 27, 2024, between the hours of 7 am and 10 am as a day for environmental sanitation exercises across the state. The release signed by the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Environment, Hon. Moses Osogi stipulates that movement of people and vehicles during the period shall be restricted except for those on essential duties. He urged business owners and residents to partake in the cleaning and evacuation of waste around their surroundings during the hours of sanitation. The release noted that defaulters shall be charged and tried by Cross River State Mobile Court.
