The Director General of the Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency Dr Janet Ekpenyong has felicitated with the state First Lady, Dr Linda Ayade as she marks another anniversary of her birth today December 23rd 2022. Dr Ekpenyong who described the state First Lady as the most dynamic and elegant leader said, the radiance of her beauty sponge not just within those around her but everyone with direct and indirect contact with her . According to her, Dr Ayade’s selfless and philanthropic gesture has helped given voices, hope and dignity to the women folk, elderly and less privileged in the society. C'River State sets aside Jan 27 for Environmental Sanitation Exercise

The Cross River State Government has announced Saturday, January 27, 2024, between the hours of 7 am and 10 am as a day for environmental sanitation exercises across the state. The release signed by the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Environment, Hon. Moses Osogi stipulates that movement of people and vehicles during the period shall be restricted except for those on essential duties. He urged business owners and residents to partake in the cleaning and evacuation of waste around their surroundings during the hours of sanitation. The release noted that defaulters shall be charged and tried by Cross River State Mobile Court.
