APC South Candidates begins Calabar South Tour in Bogobiri, Ward One

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Cross River South, has urged members of Ward one, Calabar South LGA to support its candidates in the 2023 General Election cycle. The Director General of Asuquo Ekpenyong Campaign Organization, Hon Oqua Edet Oqua made the appeal during the flag off of Ward Campaigns in Calabar South Local Government Area. Oqua, who charged the Hausa Community and members of the Ward also tasked them to put in more work for the party’s victory in 2023. He also urged the electorates in the ward to vote APC from top to bottom. According to him it's 5/5 which is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, Asuquo Ekpenyong, Joseph Bassey and Hon Effiong Ekarika aka. Obama. C'River State sets aside Jan 27 for Environmental Sanitation Exercise

The Cross River State Government has announced Saturday, January 27, 2024, between the hours of 7 am and 10 am as a day for environmental sanitation exercises across the state. The release signed by the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Environment, Hon. Moses Osogi stipulates that movement of people and vehicles during the period shall be restricted except for those on essential duties. He urged business owners and residents to partake in the cleaning and evacuation of waste around their surroundings during the hours of sanitation. The release noted that defaulters shall be charged and tried by Cross River State Mobile Court.
