Prince Otu Visit Victims Of Bikers Parade Accident at the UCTHl

Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Sen Bassey Edet Otu has today visited accident victims of the bikers parade at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital. On hand to receive him were the Director General of the State Primary Health Care, Dr. Janet Ekpenyong. Sen. Otu who expressed sadnnes over the unfortunate incident prayed God to console the family and loved ones of those who lost their lives, while assuring those in the hospital of his willingness to join hands with the state government and support the medical bills of those hospitalized. He wished them speedy recovery, reassuring that the incident will be thoroughly investigated and culprits brought to book. In seperate reactions, some family members of the deceased, appreciated the guber hopefull for his demonstration of love and concern and prayed God to bless his ambition for the overall good of the state.

Asuquo Ekpenyong condoles with the families of 27/12 victims

Following the incident at The Bikers/Exotic Cars Parade, some leaders in Cross River state have swung into action. Already, the former Commissioner for Finance and APC Cross River South Senatorial Candidate for the 2023 general election, Asuquo Ekpenyong Jr., has paid condolence visits to families of the victims, including those who have been admitted to the hospitals. He expressed sadness at the news and promised to support the families affected by the incident. Sympathising with the families, the State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, also prayed for the quick recovery of the injured victims. In addition, many indigenes, both abroad and inside the country, have continued to send condolence messages to the state.

Cross River State Government visit Victims of Biker's Carnival collision, offer medical and relief materials

The University of Calabar Teaching Hospital and the Calabar General Hospital have had a beehive of activities as medical practitioners are having all hands on deck to ensure immediate recovery of victims of the Biker's Carnival collision which happened on December 27th 2022. The news of the unfortunate and tragic death of some Cross Riverians who left their homes to watch the bikers parade earlier today, came to me as a rude shock. The confirmation followed the report of the House Committee on Judiciary, Public Service Matters, Public Petitions and Ethics by it's Chairman, Hon Chris Njar Mbu-Ogar(Etung). According to the report, all the nominees were found to be worthy of the appointment. The Cross River State government has described the interventionist efforts by the United Nations (UN) accelerated developments in the state as 'wonderful'.
