House Committee on Health Commend PHC Boss and Pledge Legislative Support To Strengthen State Health System

  The Director General of the Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Janet Ekpenyong has been commended for her hardwork in the health sector  by the Chairman House Committee on Health, Hon Dr Davies Etta,  while  seeking to collaborate with the  Agency to enhance the quality of healthcare services in the state through the formation of policies and laws to meet globally competing and acceptable values. The Chairman,  Hon Dr Etta made the disclosure during a familiarisation visit to the Agency in Calabar to intimate the DG and her team of the new Committee members and  the  preparedness of the House to enhance legislation which will complement the efforts of the executives . Cross River Govt, Chinese Embassy Partner on ICT Educational Training, Cloud Computing Technology

The Cross River State Government is set to benefit from the friendly bilateral relations that exist between Nigeria and China with the new developmental action plan and cooperations in various sectors, including educational technology, artificial intelligence, Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity. Leading the Cross River State delegation to discuss the new cooperation at the Chinese embassy in Abuja, was the Commissioner for International Development Cooperation, Dr Inyang Asibong, who assured the Chinese team of the state's readiness  for the take-off of the new relationship.  Asibong who said Cross River State under Governor Ben Ayade attaches great importance to developing the state’s  relationship with China, explaining that the new corporations is a welcome development.  According to the commissioner, the new partnership will improve the Economic  cooperations through information and  Communication Technology (ICT), Scholarships and education, as well as  science and development.

UNICAL VC seeks more collaborations with foreign universities on learning programmes

Amu Sarah Abraham has distributed wrappers to Mbube women in the four political Wards as a way of showing appreciation for the supports she has enjoyed over time. Speaking at the occasion which drew beneficiaries from the 13 villages of Mbube to St. Benedict's Primary School, Aragban, venue for the event, Hon.
