C'River Women will Embark on Solidarity Rally on the 5th of August 2021 .... Applaud Governor Ayade for Appointing women into sensitive positions in the State


 

The Cross River State women's will on the 5th of August 2021 in the city of calabar embark on a mega rally in solidarity with His Excellency, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade for appointing women into sensitive positions in the state.


According to them, the will leap for Joy and ecstasy to say " Thank you" to His Excellency for the great feats attained and for moving to the next level in his political voyage.


It is said that when the woman is happy the homestead is blessed, the earth rejoices and God grants all heart desires and expectations of the family. Cross River State women are in one bond as a family in showcasing their love for our governor. August 5 would be a glaring testament.


The women ably led by Her Excellency, Dr. Lynda Ayade, and backed by Amazons like Senator Florence Ita Giwa, Hon Stella Odey, Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Dr. Inyang Asibong, Commissioner for International Development, Dr. Betta Edu, Health Commissioner, Hon Cynthia Nkasi, member Yala 11, Hon Regina Anyogho, member Yala 1, Hon Ada Charles, Chairman Biase, Hon Esther Bassey, Chairman Calabar South, Hon Margaret Inde, Obanlikwu Council Chairman,  wives of National Assembly members, all-female vice-chairmen of councils, special advisers, directors of boards, general managers, councilors and plethora of special assistants will all be part of the epoch-making a rally.


Speaking on the import of the rally on Tuesday shortly after the Green Cardinal parade, Hon Stella Odey and Dr. Inyang Asibong said plans are afoot to bring women from across the state and beyond to showcase their love for the governor.


"Her Excellency, Dr. Lynda Ayade, the beautiful wife of our governor is part of us and will be leading our lovely women to demonstrate our love for our father and to tell him,  we the women of Cross River are solidly behind him"  Hon Odey stated.


She said husbands, fathers, brothers, and friends of women are welcome to support the women in saying, "thank you" to the governor.


"Though, it is a women's  thing our men are sincerely welcome to the event to support us in saying 'thank you to our father, the Governor"
