CREPA Partners NESREA for Clean and Healthy Environment

  The Cross River State coordinator of National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency Mr. Gwamma A. Ibrahim has said the Commission is committed to collaborating with the Cross River State environmental protection agency to ensure a cleaner environment in Cross River State. Ibrahim stated this when the Director General of CREPA and his team paid him a courtesy visit in his office. While commending the efforts of CREPA so far, he said he's alive to meet with the agency. He added that the two agency would work together in checking how waste is managed within the state, most importantly at the dump site.   The Director General of Cross River State Environmental Protection Agency, Mr Erasmus Ekpang, has led board members of the Agency on a courtesy visit to the Management of NIMASA Calabar Port Office on Thursday in Calabar. The team was welcomed by the Port Services Controller, Mr Umar Ibrahim Sidi, who congratulated the Director General on his recent appointment and also highlighted the functions of NIMASA. Acting Chairman of NANNM solicit better welfare for nurses in Cross River

  The Acting Chairman of NANNM in Cross River State, Comrade (Mrs) Josephine Bassey, has solicited for better welfare packages for nurses in the state. Comrade Bassey, who was in the delegation with members of the Joint Public Service Negotiating Council in the state who had an audience with the state Head of Service, Mrs Geraldine Ekanem, presented some urgent issues affecting nurses in the state. MARY SLESSOR FOUNDATION SET TO DONATE 1,000 BOOKS TO PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS

CRUTECH Converted to UNICROSS

Cross River University of Technology has been converted to University of Cross River State. This development followed the signing into Law of a bill to that effect by Senator Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross River State and Visitor to the University. The Bill was sponsored by Rt.
