HultPrize International; Crutech Students to compete for One Million dollars

The Campus Director HultPrize Miss Vivian Ubani today, the 9th day of December 2020 said that Cross River University of Technology is to joined Universities around the world to compete for one million dollars entrepreneurship competition in tackling the global food challenges.

According to Ubani the competition is coming up on the 15th day of December 2020 and Crutech is the host, with the theme "Food for Good for sustainable Development".

Director added that over 3000 compuses are competing from 120 countries around the world and these young people would envision their own possibilities as leaders of change.

She opined that Crutech is privileged to be representing the state and hosting this event the second time.

Ubani enthused that the competition over the years had enabled students think critically, analyzing topical issues that concern them and their environment, adding that "this gives an opportunity to create the next generation of entrepreneurship Leaders whose innovation and social enterprises are to address the major needs of global community and proffer solutions to situations affecting the world.

C'River State sets aside Jan 27 for Environmental Sanitation Exercise

The Cross River State Government has announced Saturday, January 27, 2024, between the hours of 7 am and 10 am as a day for environmental sanitation exercises across the state. The release signed by the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Environment, Hon. Moses Osogi stipulates that movement of people and vehicles during the period shall be restricted except for those on essential duties. He urged business owners and residents to partake in the cleaning and evacuation of waste around their surroundings during the hours of sanitation. The release noted that defaulters shall be charged and tried by Cross River State Mobile Court.
